Reduce Stress, Restore Balance Wellbeing Workshop for Educators

Thursday 24th February, at City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club. 8.45 am to 3.15 pm

164 teachers were asked what they would like to achieve from a well-being workshop.

52% said either; destress strategies, restore a work-life / balance, or maintain the best version of themselves.

It is time to draw a line in the sand and address the stress.

Educators are society's most important resource.

Being stressed and overworked should not be the norm. No one is winning this battle.

I have been working with schools helping teachers to cope with the pressures of school demands and end the term exhilarated rather than exhausted.

I inspire you to think differently about work-life balance.

Think of me as the Tony Robbins of education.

Due to the great success of the workshops, I am running a One Day event exclusively for educators on Thursday 24th February at City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club. 8.45 am to 3.15 pm

Reduce Stress. Restore Balance - Strategies for busy Educators

The common answer to “How are you?” Is one word, “Stressed” or “Busy”

As educators, we are in a constant state of dealing with something or someone. Whether it is a student crisis, a parent demand or a department directive. And this is on top of the personal lives we lead. It seems that life is more complicated than compassion.

The stress we feel from the demands on our expertise as a teacher, parent, partner, confidant, or colleague is relentless. The many hats we wear are being swapped with no time to look in the mirror, check our hair, splash our face and adjust the next hat. It is take off, then put on.

The one hat we don’t wear often enough is our own.
